Who We Are

The Professional Golfers' Association of Canada is a member based non-profit organization representing over 3,500 golf professionals across Canada. The Association was founded in 1911 which makes it the oldest professional golf association in North America.

Vision Statement

To create an awareness of the PGA of Canada for the enhancement of the membership, through continued leadership in the golf industry.

Mission Statement

The PGA of Canada is committed to improve and promote the game of golf by providing the golfing public and the PGA of Canada approved facilities with the highest quality administrators, teachers, players and promoters of the game, through superior training, education, and member development.

The PGA of Canada also endorses a number of golf management programs. These programs are offered by Canadian Community Colleges and result in a three year business diploma. Colleges offering the Golf Management Program include Camosun College in Victoria, B.C., Lethbridge Community College in Lethbridge, Alberta, Grant MacEwan Community College in Edmonton, Alberta, Humber College in Etobicoke, Ontario, Georgian College in Orillia, Ontario, St. Clair College in Chatham, Ontario, Niagara Community College in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, and Holland College in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.
