Cost:
- $25 + GST (continental breakfast & lunch)
- $150 + GST (History & Background of the PGA of Canada) - This portion of the cost will be paid on the day of the session when we complete the course as a group. Please ensure that you have your credit card information with you at the event.
The PGA of Manitoba New Member Orientation is designed to help Apprentice Professionals build a strong understanding of the Association and the resources available to support them early in their careers.
The morning will include discussion on National and Zone office structure, professional conduct, member benefits, employment and contracts, the Education Portal, PGA of Canada specializations, and other important topics for new members. There will also be plenty of opportunity for questions and group discussion.
Following lunch, members will complete the History and Background of the PGA of Canada course. This mandatory first-year course must be completed by all Apprentice Professionals by December 1, 2026 and provides an opportunity to earn a required education credit while becoming more familiar with the Education Portal.
Members who have already completed this particular course are welcome to use this time to work on another education course for credit or may leave following lunch.
Registration is only available to PGA of Canada members.
