Leading the Way: PGA of Canada Coaches at the 2025 Canada Summer Games

Leading the Way: PGA of Canada Coaches at the 2025 Canada Summer Games

When Team British Columbia captured gold at the 2025 Canada Summer Games in St. John’s, NL, it was a moment of pride not only for the athletes, but also for the PGA of Canada coaches and managers guiding them from behind the ropes - for British Columbia, it was coach Conner Kozak.

From August 18–22 at Bally Haly Country Club, golf was one again on the national multi-sport stage. Since debuting at the Games in 2009, golf has provided young athletes with the chance to compete nationally—an experience shaped as much by their coaches as by their own play.

This year, PGA of Canada members from across the country stepped into leadership roles as provincial and territorial coaches and managers. They offered expertise, mentorship, and support—ensuring athletes were ready to thrive in the Games environment.
