North Takes Home Top Honours at Titleist & FootJoy Spring Classic

The first Professional Golfers’ Association of Manitoba tournament of the season was held at the Rossmere Country Club yesterday with Dean North of the Carman Golf & Curling Club claiming the title.  North fired a 73 is windy conditions to edge Patrick Law of Minnedosa & Bret Thompson of Golf Mentor by 1.  Gavin March of the host club and Cory Kartusch of St. Charles rounded out the top 5 shooting 75.

A field of 27 from across Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario competed in the event that was sponsored by Titliest & FootJoy.  The next PGA of Manitoba event will be the Sunice & Bobby Jones Pro Lady Tournament to be held on June 19 at the Bel Acres Golf & Country Club.
