Srixon Cleveland Pro Partner Successfully Completed at Winkler
Winkler, MB — June 29, 2026 — Despite a challenging stretch of weather that has defined much of the 2026 Manitoba golf season, the PGA of Manitoba Srixon Cleveland Pro Partner tournament was successfully completed yesterday at the Winkler Centennial Golf Course.
Mother Nature once again made her presence felt, with morning showers followed by late-afternoon and evening thunderstorms. Thanks to excellent timing and cooperation from our players, the tournament was able to fit play in between weather systems. Although the round was briefly suspended with only three groups remaining on the golf course, conditions improved enough to allow us to resume play, and all competitors were able to complete their rounds.
The Team Division saw Ryan McMillan and Colin McMahon of Elmhurst Golf & Country Club capture first place with an outstanding 10-under-par net 61. Close behind in second were Colton Harder and Terry Enns of Winkler Centennial Golf Course, who posted a 9-under-par 62. Three teams tied for 3rd with 8 under scores of 63. The Glendale team of Jonathan Wiegner & Chris Peacock won on the count back, followed by Ben Dalke & Kelly Dalke of Niakwa and James Chapman & Carson Chapman also from Glendale.
In the Individual Pro Division, the leaderboard was topped by Ryan McMillan of Elmhurst Golf & Country Club and Ben Dalke of Niakwa Country Club, after both carded impressive rounds of 6-under-par 65. Finishing third was Walter Keating of Whitewater Golf Club at 3-under-par 68. A three-way tie for fourth place at 2-under-par 69 included Patrick Law of Minnedosa Golf & Country Club, Derrik Goodwin of Glendale Country Club, and Colton Harder of Winkler Centennial Golf Course, rounding out the top five finishers.
The PGA of Manitoba extends a sincere thank you to event sponsor Mint Green Group, with title sponsors Srixon & Cleveland Golf and presenting sponsor Nike Golf. Special recognition goes to territory representative Andrew Clapham, who was on-site throughout the day and provided all players in the field with excellent tee gifts. We thank them for their continued support of this event and our zone professionals.
The PGA of Manitoba would also like to thank the entire Winkler Centennial Golf Course staff team for their outstanding efforts under extremely difficult conditions. In particular, appreciation is extended to Colton Harder, Head Professional and Club Manager; Tyler Street and his grounds team for maintaining playing conditions to the best of their ability; and Andrea Knight, Owner-Manager of Mulligan’s Restaurant, for the exceptional meal provided to the players.
A final thank you goes out to McDonald's and the Einarson Golden Group for generously providing a breakfast sandwich and coffee to the players who stopped by the Winkler location on their way to the event yesterday. Their support was greatly appreciated by our those in our field who took the opportunity to stop by. We sincerely value this partnership and look forward to continuing to work together at future events.
The PGA of Manitoba thanks all players, partners, sponsors, and host staff for their flexibility, professionalism, and commitment, helping ensure another successful event despite the challenges posed by the season’s weather.
